Book Review - Firsts by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn

Hello, this is another Book Review, this time for Firsts by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn , can I first start this off my saying how sweet Laurie is, not many authors will comment on your Instagram posts thanking you for reading their book but she did and I just thought that was really lovely of her and I just wanted to quickly mention it. Firstly the synopsis from Goodreads - " Seventeen-year-old Mercedes Ayres has an open-door policy when it comes to her bedroom, but only if the guy fulfils a specific criteria: he has to be a virgin. Mercedes lets the boys get their awkward, fumbling first times over with, and all she asks in return is that they give their girlfriends the perfect first time- the kind Mercedes never had herself. Keeping what goes on in her bedroom a secret has been easy so far. He absentee mother isn't home enough to know about Mercedes' extracurricular activities, and her uber-religious best friend, Angela, won't even say the word 'Sex' until...

Hello, This is another book review and this one is on the book by James Dawson called All Of The Above . This book was published on the 3rd of September this year, and I got a copy right after it came into my local store, I read about this book on netgalley (  https://www.netgalley.com  ) and the synopsis, book cover and blurbs just drew me right in..... The synopsis on Goodreads is " This is a funny and moving love story about friends, first loves and self-discovery by Queen of Teen 2014. Things start looking up when Toria meets funny and foul-mouthed Polly, who's the coolest girl that Toria has ever seen. Polly and the rest of the 'alternative' kids take Toria under their wing. And that's when she meets the irresistible Nico Mancini, lead singer of a local band - and it's instalove at f...

Book Review - All The Rage - Courtney Summers

Hello, So I don't know if I have ever really mentioned this properly on this, but I am an avid book reader, and reading is a big part of my everyday life so I wanted to incorporate books into my blog a little bit more (before it was just favourites and haul), with the exception of one book review before, I have decided I wanted to do more book reviews on this. I hope everyone can enjoy these and do remember I am new to these so they may not be the best reviews in the entire world. The first one being All The Rage by Courtney Summers . The synopsis from goodreads is " The sheriff's son, Kellan Turner, is not the golden boy everyone thinks he is, and Romy Grey knows that for a fact. Because no one wants to believe a girl from wrong side of town, the truth about him has cost her everything - friends, family, and her community. Branded a liar and bullied relentlessly by a group of kids she used to hang out with, Romy's only refuge is the diner where she works outside of...

Sweater Weather tag

ITS AUTUMN! So that means some Autumn blog posts right? And starting them off is a tag - The Sweater Weather tag, hope everyone enjoys, Lets get started... 1. Favorite candle scent? I have this candle from Yankee Candles called November Rain, I know it says November but oh well, but it smells so nice, more like a manly smell than rain but very nice. This how they explain it on the website ' A rainy fall day stirs up many emotions, as does this intoxicating, masculine, and moody fragrance with deep watery notes. In it, you'll discover the quiet interlude of the season reflected in an airy, refreshing mix of watery leaf notes, warm amber and crisp, brisk air. All perfectly suited for cozying up inside and watching the rain from your window'.  It basically smells like cuddling a man while its raining out next to a fire.... . 2. Coffee, Tea or Hot Chocolate? I am not a coffee person at all, so it would either be Tea or Hot Chocolate but if I HAD to choose one it would be...
