Binge - Worthy TV Shows on Netflix

Binge watching TV shows on Netflix is honestly one of my favourite things to do and wind down (or stay up with until 4 in the morning, whichever my mood is....) so I thought I would share ones that I have really enjoyed or what I find entertaining, hope you enjoy. 13 Reasons Why The series revolves around a high school student, Clay Jensen , and his friend Hannah Baker , a girl who committed suicide after suffering a series of demoralizing circumstances brought on by select individuals at her school. A box of cassette tapes recorded by Hannah before her suicide details thirteen reasons why she ended her life. Trigger Warning for self-harm, suicide and rape . Narcos Narcos follows the story of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar , who became a billionaire through the production and distribution of cocaine , while also focusing on Escobar's interactions with drug lords and DEA  agents. I read a total of 24 books over the entire summer and I came out with 8 new favourite books and wanted to share them because a few of them have actually ended up on my all time favourite books list, can you guess which ones??? Hope you enjoy!! American Gods - Neil Gaiman - Locked behind bars for three years, Shadow did his time, quietly waiting for the day when he could return to Eagle Point, Indiana. A man no longer scared of what tomorrow might bring, all he wanted was to be with Laura, the wife he deeply loved, and start a new life. But just days before his release, Laura and Shadow's best friend are killed in an accident. With his life in pieces and nothing to keep him tethered, Shadow accepts a job from a beguiling stranger he meets on the way home, an enigmatic man who calls himself Mr. Wednesday. A trickster and a rogue, Wednesday seems to know more about Shadow than Shadow does himself. Life as Wednesday's bodyguard, driver, and errand boy is far more interestin...

Books worth reading in your teens

Hey, I'm Back and hopefully for good!! I thought I would come back with a quick post on books. I have read my fair share of really good books in these past few years so thought I would give a list of my ones that I think are actually worth reading in your teens.  This list is compiled of 10 books that I have read over the last two years and every single one of them convey a great topic and talk about major issues we are still dealing with at this very time.  1. The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood -  Offred is a Handmaid in the Republic of Gilead. She may leave the home of the Commander and his wife once a day to walk to food markets whose signs are now pictures instead of words because women are no longer allowed to read. She must lie on her back once a month and pray that the Commander makes her pregnant, because in an age of declining births, Offred and the other Handmaids are valued only if their ovaries are viable. Offred can remember the years bef...
