Seeing as Horror is my favourite movie genre and I have Halloween blues (is this even a thing????) I thought I would do a Top 15 Horror/Scary movies/franchises and series. 1. Insidious ( Trilogy ) The story centres on a couple whose son inexplicably enters a comatose state and becomes a vessel for ghosts in an as tral dimension  who want to inhabit his body, in order to once again live. The second movie focuses on the same family but more so the father. 2. The Freddy Krueger Franchise  The franchise revolves around the fictional character Freddy Krueger , a former child killer who stalks teenagers in their dreams and kills them. His motives were to seek revenge on their parents, who had burned him alive. This franchise has 9 movies in it. 3. Halloween Franchise The franchise focuses on the character of Michael Meyers  who was committed to a sanitarium as a child for the murder of his older sister, Judith Meyers .
