I'm pretty sure I have mentioned here before that I am currently studying Photography at college. Photography is a big part of my life and one of my favourite things to do with my time so today I wanted to share some of my favourite photographers and show a few images and a bit about their work and I hope you find this interesting and enjoy.
Sally Mann -
Sally Mann is an American Photographer best known for her large, black & white photographs, first of her children, then later of landscapes suggesting decay & death. Her books include - At twelve portraits of young Women and her immediate family, which is her most controversial work which is my main reason for liking her so much.

Nick Knight -
Nick Knight is a British fashion photographer. Nick Knight has won awards for his editorial work for Vogue, Dazed & Confused, i-D, W Magazine and for fashion projects such as the 2004 edition of the Pirelli Calendar.
Mario Testino -
Mario Testino is a Peruvian fashion photographer. He has worked with Magazines such as Vogue, GQ, V Magazine, Vanity Fair and also with brands such as Gucci, Burberry, Versace, Michael Kors, Chanel, Estée Lauder and Lancõme. He has been described as 'the world's most prolific Magazine and Fashion trade photographer.
Annie Leibovitz -
Annie Leibovitz is an American portrait photographer. She has worked with Rolling Stone Magazine for 10 years and she was the lead tour photographer for The Rolling Stones tour in 1975. She was the very last person to photographed John Lennon, professionally before he died. She has also done work with Vanity Fair and Walt Disney.
Steve McCurry -
Steve McCurry is an American editorial photographer and is best known for his photograph 'Afghan Girl'. He works closely with The National Geographic. His career started by him photographing the people of war in Iran, Lebanon, Philippines and Afghan.
Ansel Adams -
Ansel Adams was an American photographer. His black & white landscape photos of the American West, especially Yosemite National Park, have been widely reproduced on Calendars, posters, books, etc. He was a co-producer of the Zone System, which determines proper exposure and adjusts the contrast of the final print.
Ellen Von UnWerth -
Ellen Von UnWerth is a German Model, turned Photographer, specialising in Erotic Femininity.
She has been in magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Interview, The Face, Arena, Twill, L'Uomo Vogue and i-D. She has also done album work for Duran Duran, Bananarama, Janet Jackson, All Saints, Dido, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Rihanna.
Kait Robinson -
Kait Robinson is a Brooklyn based beauty, fashion and portrait photographer. Kait Robinsons images glow with emotional life, which is most likely the reason she has been so successful in such a short time. Kait has had her work shown in big fashion magazines already, such a 7 - stops style and many more.
So those are a few of my favourite photographers, most of them I have found out about during college and there are so many more that I like but I just wanted to show my main ones and I hope you enjoyed and I really liked bringing my love of photography to here.
