Hi, so I thought today I would do another book tag and I see this one around quite a lot and I have always wanted to do it, so here is the Social Media Book Tag, enjoy!
1. Twitter; Your favourite short book?
Probably James Patterson's; Bloody Valentine, this was my first James Patterson book and I love horrible, disgusting killer stories so this was really perfect for me and I had never read anything like it up until then.
2. Facebook; A book everybody pressured you into reading?
Anna and the French kiss. Don't get me wrong I loved this book so much but even though nobody directly told me to read it I still felt the pressure from afar, from social media itself (Youtube, Goodreads) but I do love the book so I am thankful for the pressure.
3. Tumblr; A book you read before it was cool?
Ah I don't think I have read a book before it was cool, but I'm going to go with a book that isn't out yet but when it is, it's going to blow up and that is Firsts by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn
4. MySpace; A book you don't remember if you liked or not?
The only books I can think of is the Twilight Saga and that mainly because I haven't read them since I was 12/13, so when I find time I will be re reading them.
5. Instagram; A book that was so beautiful you had to get it?
There are so many books bought because of this but I think I would go with Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson, this book caught my eye on the bookshelf in a local store, I'm not exactly sure what caught my eye but after reading the book I felt like the book cover represented their friendship but it is a pretty book cover.
6. Youtube; A book you wish would be turned into a movie?
Oh so many but I think the Anna, Lola and Isla books would be such great and beautiful movies because they are set in so many different cities and I just love the characters and would love to see them and the cities come to life.
7. Goodreads; A book you recommend to everyone?
All of the above by James Dawson, I read this book only a few weeks ago and the story is just still with me, it's a book that deal with sexuality, self-harm, eating disorders, death and the problems of growing up. It has characters that everyone can probably relate to, the story is cute and funny but had sad moments for teenagers, I just think that it's a beautifully written book with amazing characters.
8. Skype; A book with characters that you wish you could talk to instead of just reading about?
I would have said All of the above again for this one and Harry Potter characters are also an obvious one for this but the only other one I can think of would be either the 3 sisters from ' To All The Boys I've Loved Before ' because I just think that they are funny and do cute and Kitty is possibly one of my favourite characters but also the two girls from ' Open Road Summer' , I just think that if these girls were real and not just book characters, I would definitely be friends with them, they are just funny, friendly girls who always have each others back and would just like to know them personally.
So that was the social media book tag and I hope that everyone enjoyed it, I really like this one, kinda made me think and go over all the books I have read.
